The story behind Trolgar is simple. One of the founders of Trolgar was searching for a product to meet his needs and budget and it was not available. He wanted a discreet bullet resistant panel that was flexible and capable of being transported. The main purpose was to stop a bullet in case of an accidental discharge. The panel would be hung on his wall above his reloading workbench where he worked on, cleaned, loaded and unloaded his handguns. He wanted a safe backstop to dryfire his guns. He also wanted to take the panel when traveling to pistol matches and needed a safe backstop in hotel rooms.

He then contacted a close friend, a Vietnam Combat Veteran, who was familiar with the damage a bullet can cause. The result was the "Trolgar Protection Shield." (Patent Pending)  The panel also added security by being hung on the back of the hotel room door. In case of a break in, should someone shoot through the door, it would stop the bullet.

It was then time to name the company. A mythical protector was created. It was a combination of trol and olgar and trolgar was born. The story of the tribe of Trolgar's was developed as was the good luck charm--their bell. It has brought good luck to the founders and they hope to pass on this protection from evil spirits. The Trolgar Bell
Ever since ancient times, every morning the Trolgar tribal elders have rung a silver bell located in the village square to ward off the evil spirits. It became legend that if you have a Trolgar watching over you, you were protected from evil and to be blessed with good luck and financial prosperity. This is how the Trolgar bell has become a good luck symbol and provides security, serenity, and prosperity to those who believe.

 Your Good Luck Charm
Now you too, can have the good luck charm of a Trolgar bell. Attach one to your ATV or, keychain, motorcycle, car, truck, boat, plane or however you roll for good fortune. Different sizes are available and you can choose from a selection of Trolgar warriors. Bells are  2 inches in length and the ringer in the bell is a hatchet. These bells are made of zinc and come with an attachment loop. The smaller bells are less than one inch in length and are better suited to small key rings and pet collars.
